MOTIVATIONS
For the originality and the rhythm of the story, the author’s awareness of a sensitive and complex topic dealt with an ironic and fun way, the accurate descriptive ability of the characters, and for meeting all the requirements of the Call, the winning screenplay of the VI Edition of Castello Errante is the original work by Lorenzo Carapezzi, entitled Cosmo & Wanda.

SPECIAL MENTION
For a fresh look at a sensitive issue as death is, for its black humor dealt with a sense of rhythm and maturity, the screenplay by Paolo Caro Silva, Funeral, is awarded the Special Mention. This mention will guarantee the work direct access to the final stage of the selections for the screenplay at the VII Edition of Castello Errante.

Born in Mexico, he performed his duties nationwide and worldwide, such as holding the role of Ambassador of Mexico in 10 countries. He was Viceminister of Culture, first President of the Inter-American Commission on Culture at OAS – Organization of American States, and President of the UNESCO Culture Commission during the 33rd General Conference of Paris. Under his Presidency, the Convention for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions was approved.

ALVARO CORTÉS POO

Secretary – ACC (Chilean Association of Cinematography)
He has studied as Audiovisual Communicator, specialized in Cinematography, and has worked as Director of Photography for documentary and film projects that have been awarded nationwide and worldwide. He has taught for more than 20 years at the University DUOC-UC and at the Film School ARCOS in Santiago De Chile. In 2019 he participated as an expert in the 3rd International Conference on Cinematographic Teaching and Research in Bruxelles. Currently, he is Secretary of ACC (Chilean Association of Cinematography). In Castello Errante he works as Education Coordinator.

ADELE DELL’ERARIO

She studied in Bologna where she organized more than 30 contemporary art events. In Rome since 2012, she has organized cultural and film projects. From 2013 she was firstly Responsible for Events and Festivals and then General Director at the Nuovo Cinema Aquila of Rome. Today she is Head of Development at Occhi di Giove Srl, an audiovisual and cultural production company, Artistic Director for Castello Errante. Residenza Internazionale del Cinema, Vice-president for Doc/it – Association of Italian Documentary Directors and Operations Director at IDS – Italian Doc Screenings.

EDOARDO FRACCHIA
Documentary Director
Founder – Stefilm Srl
Graduated in Medicine in 1979, in 1984 he founded the film production company Stefilm Srl with Elena Filippini and Stefano Tealdi. A big part of his job is focused on the selection, development, and production of debut films. From the beginning of 2000 till today he has taught in workshops of writing, production, and pitching presentation for projects in Italy and abroad.

SALVATORE LIZZIO
Film Producer – Revok Film Srl
He has worked and lived in cities like Rome, Venice, Stockholm, New York, and Los Angeles. During the years he has worked on several projects around Europe, the United States, and South Korea, combining his philosophical research of a language with new forms of cinematographic expression, thanks to the collaboration with renowned international artists. He’s a producer at Revok Film Srl, with which he has produced several independent high-quality films and audiovisual works with cultural and social commitment.

SOLIDEA RUGGIERO
Writer, performer, and independent curator

She wrote for different cultural and contemporary art magazines and her name is present in several anthologies of Italian poetry and literature. In 2001 she won the writing contest of the Scuola Holden. In 2011 she participated in the 54th Venice Biennale. In 2013 she published Io che non conosco la vergogna (I don’t know shame) for the Italian/Chilean publishing house Edicola Ediciones. In 2015 she acted in the Ananke film by Claudio Romano and Betty L’Innocente, winning “Primo Piano sull’Autore” award. In 2016, by the same directors, she acted in the short-film Con il vento, selected at the Pesaro Film Festival.
