NEW DEADLINE FOR THE 2024 CALLS OF CASTELLO ERRANTE: JULY 22

The new deadline to register for the calls
for the eighth edition of Castello Errante is July 22!

The residency represents a unique opportunity for young film professionals from Italy and Latin America, who will be the driving force behind an innovative audiovisual production and promotion project. Participants can apply both for the selection of a screenplay, aimed at supporting young Italian and Latin American authors, and for the selection of an international crew that will produce the chosen work.

During the residency, the selected crew will have the opportunity to work on various artistic projects and participate in masterclasses and workshops led by prominent international experts in the field. Castello Errante, which will once again bring life to a characteristic village in the Lazio Region, has always been committed to supporting international exchanges, constantly expanding its network of partners. This year, the initiative is further supported by a new partner, Red TAL – Unión de los canales públicos y culturales de América Latina.

To promote the new edition, the deadline has been extended to 6:00 PM (CEST) on July 22, 2024, and the results will be published on the designated page on the website.

Castello Errante is a project organized by Occhi di Giove S.r.l., with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Lazio Region. It is in collaboration with IILA – the Italian-Latin American International Organization, Roma Lazio Film Commission, Doc/it – the Italian Documentary Filmmakers Association, AANT – Academy of Arts and New Technologies, and the Embassies of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela, as well as a rich network of festivals and cultural partners from Latin America.
