2021 EDITION

The fifth edition was held in the hamlet of Santa Severa, located in the municipality of Santa Marinella, in the province of Rome (Italy). The theme chosen for this year is “The Great Wave”, intended as an opportunity but also a challenge and a turning point, which effectively portrays the enthusiasm and tenacity of the many people who work and participate in the project. Castello Errante is created with the support of the Ibermedia Programme, the Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Lazio Region, Fondazione Cinema per Roma, in collaboration with the Roma Lazio Film Commission, IILA – International Italian-Latin American Organisation, and the Embassies of Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

WELCOME EVENT

It was held on 10 November 2021 with the participation of many national and international guests and collaborators, connected from all around the world to talk about their experience in the project. Director Adele Dell’Erario, working alongside the General Coordinator César González Álvarez, presented the new programme together with the participation of the representatives of the Italian and Latin American institutions that support Castello Errante, such as the person in charge of the Geneva and Rome international organisations for the management of International Cooperation Carla Sierra Zuniga, IILA Cultural Secretary Jaime Nualart Sanchez, producer and director of deleFOCO – Comunidad Audiovisual del Costa Rica, Josué Fischel Jiménez together with the teachers and professionals of the past editions of the project.
